Storefront Church at Theatre B

Over the holiday season Theatre B will entertain and enlighten audiences with and Tony, Oscar, and Pulitzer winner John Patrick Shanley’s “Storefront Church”. It’s almost Christmas, and Shanley transports us to a wintery Bronx, where bankers threaten foreclosure, a disillusioned preacher has lost his faith, and a modern-day Scrooge yearns for redemption. Theatre B will partner with the Gathering, an area faith organization dedicated to helping those who seek community, as well as other local faith organizations, for special performances and conversations about the connection between art, faith, justice, and morality.
