Fargo Moorhead Community Theatre (FMCT) presents THE CURIOUS INCIDENT OF THE DOG IN THE NIGHT-TIME on February 1-2 & 7-9 at 7:30pm, and February 3 at 2:00pm at The Stage at Island Park.

Based on the award-winning novel of the same name by Mark Haddon, this five-time Tony Award-winning play follows 15-year-old protagonist Christopher John Francis Boone. Christopher knows all the countries in the world and every prime number up to 7,057. He possesses an extraordinary brain, exceptional at math while ill-equipped to interpret everyday life. He has never ventured alone beyond the end of his road, detests being touched, distrusts strangers, and has little understanding of human emotions. When a neighbor's dog is found speared to death with a garden fork, Christopher is determined to investigate the mysterious death, forcing him to confront his fears along a frightening journey that upturns his world.

Audiences will be captivated by this contemporary Sherlock Holmes-style mystery as they watch Christopher deduce his way through a journey full of unfamiliar paths, unexpected obstacles, and surprising revelations. This fast-paced story is aided by imaginative lights and projections designed by Bryan Duncan, Concordia College's Director of Campus Lights, known for light designing the Concordia Christmas Concerts and theatre productions.

FMCT Artistic Director, Adam Pankow, directs the regional premiere of this compelling modern mystery featuring a cast of ten. The production is recommended for audiences ages 13+.

Audio description will be available on Saturday, February 2. Assistive listening devices are available to patrons at the FMCT Box Office for all performances.

Tickets go on sale Monday, January 14. Become a FMCT Member for access to pre-sale tickets two weeks before the general public. For all ticketing and membership information, visit fmct.org or call 701.235.6778.
