Fargo Moorhead Community Theatre (FMCT) is the proud recipient of the Arts Culture & Creativity grant, in the amount of $5,000, funded by the FM Area Foundation. The grant has been awarded to FMCT for its "Seeing the world, hearing the image; the artistic possibilities of audio description in theatre" program. This program assists FMCT's effort to provide audio description performances for patrons with visually impairments.

"Providing access to all visually and hearing-impaired individuals is our goal. Through the FM Area Foundation, we will begin to build our resources to make this a reality," states Eloise Breikjern, FMCT executive director.

Audio description performances are available opening night of FMCT performances. Audio listening devices are available to patrons at the FMCT Box Office. FMCT will also be designing a website to be accessible for a blind or visually-impaired person.

Fargo Moorhead Community Theatre is a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization that has been producing live theatre in the area for over 70 years.
