Fargo Moorhead Community Theatre (FMCT) presents Silver Follies: Murder and Mayhem on May 19 & 21 at 7:30pm and May 20 at 2pm at The Stage at Island Park.
Featuring performers aged 50+, Silver Follies demonstrates that performing is not only for the young, but also the young at heart. This annual spring showcase takes on the theme of Murder and Mayhem. The program will include lively musical numbers, dance, and a short, scripted play-within-a-play whodunit entitled "A Murdered Mystery."
This variety show has something fun for everyone. The dance routine and musical numbers feature familiar classics that will have everyone toe-tapping and humming along, and the play will have people wondering what could possibly happen next. While "A Murdered Mystery" first appears to be a simple homicide case, it quickly proves the answer to 'whodunit' may not be so simple.
Director Bill Lucas leads the creative team of Silver Follies 2018, along with Assistant Director Jay Nelson and Music Director Andrea Greenawalt. Both new and familiar FMCT talent make up a company of 26 performers.
Assistive listening devices are available to patrons at the FMCT Box Office for all performances. Tickets are on sale now to the general public. To purchase tickets, or to become a FMCT member with early access to tickets, visit fmct.org or call 701.235.6778.
