SEEKING

Equity stage manager for local NYC TYA tour of YOU'RE A GOOD MAN CHARLIE BROWN (See breakdown). This production travels daily to New York City Public Schools.

Inside Broadway is currently celebrating 42 years of introducing our city’s young people to the joys and advantages of live theater. Local NYC stage managers are encouraged to submit.

BREAKDOWN

YOU'RE A GOOD MAN CHARLIE BROWN

Operating under the Actors’ Equity Contract, the stage manager functions as the main contact and liaison at the school. Stage managers are responsible for all technical elements, advancing, and logistics for the production. The performers are also designated Actor/ASMs.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Traditional Stage Management duties as outlined in the Equity TYA Agreement
  • Scheduling the daily calls based on the itinerary supplied
  • Reporting to the office daily
  • Maintaining all Actors’ Equity Agreement
  • Contract rules and reporting overtime
  • Operating the sound and mixing each performance
  • Assisting with daily load in and set up of production

The Stage Manager does not drive a van. We hire a car service. Everyone meets at the Inside Broadway office located in midtown to load in the van each morning. This is a job for a morning person. The Stage Manager must also delegate ASM duties to the four (4) Actor/ASMs.
