APPOINTMENTS

Auditions appointments will be scheduled on a 1st come, 1st served basis on the day of the audition. The space will open at 9am. The receptionist will direct you downstairs to the waiting area and audition space.

Actors local to Southern California are encouraged to audition.

Actors who identify as and speak Persian are encouraged to audition.

All roles are Iranian and speak Farsi fluently.

SEEKING:

NAZANIN – (nzaenin) female identifying, 30s Iranian, sort of mean, magnetic, sharp, not easily forgiving.

SALME – (saelm) – female identifying. 30s Iranian, the peacemaker, kind-hearted, full of grace, insightful, devout friend, a bird

ZARI –(saei) female identifying, 30s, Iranian, happy-go-lucky, playful, impish, loves with all her heart.

SHIDEH – (id) female identifying, 30s, Iranian, a little uptight, tenatious, intelligent, intelligent, good comic timing. Doubles as NEW FRIEND, who appears at the end of the play.

RANA (aen) female identifying, 30s Jewish Iranian, the queen of cool, vibrant, sharp, alpha.

PREPARATION

Please prepare one 2-3 minute monologue from a CONTEMPORARY play. Also please bring your headshot and resume stapled together with your correct contact information.
