ED - Male 60-70, Ed is entering his mid 70s. He is the father of the family; a family man; good-natured, well-intentioned, liberal, and a bit sad since the passing of his wife. Ability to strum a guitar is a plus. Ed is a straight white man.

MATT - Male 40-45, Matt is in his mid-40s and is the eldest of the three brothers. He wears baggy jeans and oversized shirts. Politically and socially conscious and highly intelligent, but often uncomfortable in his skin; frustrated by the social expectations the world has for him; currently working a low-level temp job and living with his father. Lots of physicality, should be comfortable with movement and some stage combat choreography. Matt is a straight white man.

JAKE - Male 38-43, Jake is in his early 40s and very fit. He is the middle child of the three boys. A very successful banker; confident; recently divorced. Lots of physicality, should be comfortable with movement and some stage combat choreography. Jake is a straight white man.

DREW - Male 35-40, Drew is around 40 (late 30s/40ish) and the youngest of the brothers. He is an award-winning writer and professor. Lots of physicality, should be comfortable with movement and some stage combat choreography. Potentially somersaults over a sofa? Drew is a straight white man.

MAN – mid 20s to mid 30s, A single man living alone in New York City. He dreams of finding a beautiful woman but is jaded at the idea of a deeply committed relationship. Any race or ethnicity. Vocal Range: F2 – G4

OLYMPE DE GOUGES - late 30s, badass activist playwright and feminist, Theatre nerd, excitable, passionate, a showman.

CHARLOTTE CORDAY - mid 20s, badass country girl and assassin. Very serious, hardened by righteousness. Part of FRATERNITÉ.

MARIE-ANTOINETTE - late 30s, less badass but fascinating former queen of France. Bubbly, graceful, opinionated, totally unaware, unintentionally rude and oddly prescient. Part of FRATERNITÉ.

MARIANNE ANGELLE - 30s, a badass black woman in Paris. She is from the Caribbean, a free woman, a spy working with her husband. Tough, classy, vigilant, the sanest one of them all.
