SEEKING
Actor/Singers for 4 available roles in this Developmental Lab Agreement Production. NOTE: WALLENBERG IS BASED ON THE TRUE STORY OF RAOUL WALLENBERG, A SWEDISH ARISTOCRAT WHO WAS DETERMINED AT ALL COSTS TO PROTECT AND SAVE THE LIVES OF MANY JEWISH PEOPLE IN BUDEPEST DURING WORLD WAR II. WALLENBERG IS A SWEEPING ROMANTIC DRAMA.
PREPARATION
Prepare a brief song. The style of singing ranges from Claude-Michel Schonberg, Michael Kunze, Sylvester Levay, dramatic Andrew Lloyd Webber, and big band style of the 1940’s. All singers must have Legit voices. Bring sheet music; accompanist provided. Bring picture and resume.

BREAKDOWN
SEEKING THE FOLLOWING PRINCIPAL ROLES:
Elisabeth
(40’s) She is an elegant, regal, warm and stunning woman. She has charm and class. She is married to the Baron who is determined to rise politically. She falls in love with Wallenberg. Soprano
Baron
(30’s) Elizabeth’s husband. He is tall, handsome and aristocratic. He is passionate about rising in the government to assume power. He is very pleased with himself and eventually joins the Nazi Party. Baritone.
Per
(late 30’s- mid 40’s) He is a serious Swedish diplomat and is the head of the Swedish consulate in Budapest. This is where Wallenberg goes to save the Jews from the Nazis. He is cautious but eventually joins Wallenberg in his crusade. A plain but appealing man. Baritone.
Rozsa
(early 30’s) A warm attractive Jewish woman who becomes Wallenberg’s supporter and works with him. Soprano.
