UNTITLED NEW MUSICAL THEATRE PROJECT
SEEKING:
THE LEADER: 18-25. A person of color. A talented musician. Very charming, funny, and has the soul of an artist. He is both driven and possessed by his musical gifts. An incredibly skilled singer. Huge plus if the Leader is an expert musician. Has an incredibly wide vocal range.
GUITARIST: 20s-30s. She/her. Any ethnicity. Guitarist in the rock band. Has confidence in herself, her talent and her beliefs. Fierce but also has a good sense of humor and uses humor wisely. Able to sing and be skilled with harmonies. All voice parts welcome. Playing guitar is a plus.
KEYBOARDIST B- 20s-30s. He/him. Any ethnicity. Also plays keys in the rock band. A teddy bear. Has a lot of empathy and really tries to support those around him. Radiates goodness. Able to sing and is skilled with harmonies. All voice parts welcome. Playing the keys is a plus.
THE OWNER - late 40s-50s. Black. He/him. He owns the joint where everyone gathers. Old friend of the family. Tries to be a positive force to those around him, but ultimately has a business to run. Rumors say he was a pimp. Able to sing and be skilled with harmonies. All voice parts welcome.
RISING DREAMER, 18-25. A woman of color. Dreams of being a star. An impressive talent with an infectious energy. You can’t take your eyes off of her. Adventurous. Able to REALLY sing and be skilled with harmonies.
