UNDERSTUDY 1 (20s-50s, black, female or female identifying): Will cover the roles of Character 1, Character 2, Character 4, Character 7, and possibly more.
UNDERSTUDY 2 (20s-50s, male or male-identifying): Will cover the roles of Character 3, Character 6, Character 5, Character 7, Others, and possibly more.
UNDERSTUDY 3 (any gender): Will cover the roles of Character 1, Character 5, Character 2, Character 4, Character 3, Character 7, Others, and possibly more.
The following roles are CAST:
CHARACTER 1 (20s-40s, White, any gender): An eleven-year-old girl who's so British, she's practically Shakespearean. Underneath her proper and polite exterior is a hot streak of rage, so be careful to not push her.
CHARACTER 2 (20s-40s, Black, female or female-identifying): An eleven-year-old girl from California - tough, cool, and clever. She knows what she wants and honestly does not care whose lives she ruins to get it. But what does she know, she's only eleven!
CHARACTER 3 (30s/40s, male or male-identifying): A sexy zaddy who's honestly kind of dumb. Owns and runs a vineyard (a what-yard?) in Napa Valley. Gullible and easily aroused, this man is a complete pushover until it really matters.
CHARACTER 4/OTHERS (30s/40s, female or female-identifying): She is a gorgeous, almost angelic British woman with a strict business side. Think Princess Di meets Miranda Priestly. She's very put together in any situation, unless there's cocaine involved.
CHARACTER 5/OTHERS (30s-50s, any gender): A flirtatious bombshell who's looking for long-term security. She'd be the perfect guest at The White Lotus.
CHARACTER 6/OTHERS (30s-50s, any gender): He is the butler of Character 1 and Character 4. Serviceable, caring, and queer adjacent. Will also double as an old British war veteran and a forgetful camp director.
CHARACTER 7/OTHERS (30s-50s, any gender): She is the fun-loving nanny of Character 2 and Character 3. Emotional, curious, and queer adjacent. Honestly more of a parent to Character 2 than Character 4 ever was. Will double as an enthusiastic camp director.
CHARACTER 8/OTHERS (20s-50s, any gender): Characters will range from Shirley MacLaine in Postcards From the Edge to a lizard. This track may understudy other roles as well.
