Sign-ups for this audition will take place the morning of the audition on a first come, first served basis. The lobby will be open for sign ups beginning at 9:30AM. If you are unable to attend these auditions, you may submit a video submission. Please see breakdown for details.

Equity actors for roles in Theatrical Outfit's 2023-24 Season (See breakdown).
Performers of all ethnicities, gender identities, and ages, as well as performers with disabilities are encouraged to audition.
Please prepare a 2-3 minute contemporary monologue and/or a short song in the style of the shows in the season. An accompanist will be provided. Also bring an up-to-date headshot and resume stapled together. For any questions please email:

VIDEO SUBMISSIONS
For actors who are unable to attend, or who live outside of Atlanta, we are accepting video submissions now through May 20th, 2023.
For understudy opportunities only, video submissions will be accepted through July 3, 2023.
Please prepare a video of yourself performing a 2-3 minute contemporary monologue. At the beginning of the video, please state your name and let us know what you are going to perform.
All submissions should be emailed to: casting@theatricaloutfit.org. In the subject line please include “EPA Submission 23/24” and your name. Also, indicate whether you are a local hire in Atlanta, and write a short paragraph with any additional information you’d like us to know.

SETTING: Los Angeles, Amsterdam, Berlin, and beyond!
SYNOPSIS: The story of a nameless Youth who is on a quest to find “the real.” On the way, this young, African-American, middle-class man discovers what a bohemian life really involves, “passing” through the worlds of sex, drugs, and rock ‘n’roll -- and all the ups and downs in between.
Note: We are primarily interested in seeing African American actors for all of these roles but are open to auditions from anyone with a strong connection to the play.

SYNOPSIS: Based on the movie of the same name, this heartwarming play tells the story of a young boy named Ralphie Parker who attempts to convince his parents, his teacher, and Santa that a Red Ryder B.B. gun is the perfect Christmas gift. Narrated by Ralphie's adult self, this play is a satirical tale of a middle-class family negotiating the challenges of Christmas, through the lens of a nine-year old boy.

SYNOPSIS: A genre-defying true story of a reluctant World War II hero and Holocaust witness. After surviving the devastation of the Blitzkrieg, Karski swears allegiance to the Polish Underground and
risks his life to carry the first eyewitness reports of war-torn Poland to the Western world, and ultimately, the Oval Office. Karski endures unspeakable mental anguish and physical torture to stand tall in the halls of power and speak the truth. The complexity and legacy of this self-described “insignificant, little man” whose timely story of moral courage and individual responsibility can still shake the conscience of the world.

When they arrive the charade begins. The drinks flow and suddenly inhibitions melt.
