Equity actors for roles in TheatreWorks Silicon Valley's 2025-26 Season (See breakdown). A season of dramas, musicals, comedies, and premieres, as well as projects in our New Works Initiative and Education programs.
Please prepare either one song and one monologue, or two monologues. Total of 3 minutes. Bring sheet music in the key you plan to sing. Also, bring your headshot and resume stapled together.

LOUISA / JO: Independent, ambitious, and fiercely determined. A woman in her teens – 20s.
MEG: The eldest March sister. Responsible, nurturing, and traditional. A woman in her 20s.
BETH: Quiet, gentle, and musical. A girl in her teens.
AMY: The youngest sister. Impatient, artistic, vivacious, charming. A woman in her teens – 20.
MARMEE: The mother of the March sisters. Wise, nurturing, and compassionate. A woman in her 40s-50s.
AUNT MARCH: Fussy, rich, judgmental, 70. (*can be double cast with Marmee)
LAURIE: Wealthy, charming neighbor and close friend of the March sisters. A man in his teens-20s.
JOHN: Laurie’s tutor, later Meg’s husband. Intelligent, earnest, and respectful. A man in his late 20s.
MR. LAURENCE / MR. MARCH: Laurie’s prickly grandfather, Jo’s father. (*can be double cast with John)

REINA: Brown skin. A worker and healer, listens more than she speaks. 32.

Setting: 1815 – Christmas, Pemberly. 1821 – Christmas, London.
GEORGIANA DARCY: Shy, an accomplished pianist, romantic.
KITTY BENNET: A ray of sunshine. Supportive, optimistic and a problem solver.
ELIZABETH DARCY: Bright and witty. Sister and a mother-figure.
LYDIA WICKHAM: A little extra, has gained some wisdom. Suddenly without a husband.
JANE BINGLEY: Eldest and most reserved sister, kind, generous, soft spoken. Very pregnant with her first child.
MARY BENNET: Middle sister, brainy, sharp tongued.
HENRY GREY: Georgiana's beau. Remarkably shy, incredible sincerity and intellect. Unaware that he is the hero of the story.
THOMAS O'BRIEN: Henry’s friend. A little bawdy and a little jolly.
FITZWILLIAM DARCY: Proud, still finding his warmth. Slightly over-protective of his little sister, Georgiana.

KENNETH: Male, Black, late 30s. A gentle soul with a vivid imagination. Earnest, shy, and caring, Kenneth is haunted by anxiety and the inability to take risks.
BERT: Male, Black, late 30s – 40s. Kenneth’s longtime friend. Charismatic and optimistic. Encourages Kenneth to embrace newfound opportunities.
CORRINA / WALLY’S WAITER / BANK CUSTOMERS: Female, Black, 30s – 40s. A friendly bartender who forms an unexpected bond with Kenneth. Kind, straightforward, deeply perceptive. Will double in the roles of WALLY’S WAITER and BANK CUSTOMERS.
CLAY / SAM / LE POUSSELET BARTENDER: Male, any race, 50s – 60s. Sam is Kenneth’s boss at the bookstore. Clay is a compassionate bank manager who wants the best for his employees.

BEULAH: Head of the Gander Legion. A woman between 40 – 60.
OZ: Quirky constable in the two-person Gander police force. A man between 30 – 50. Vocal range top: G4.
DOUG: An Air Traffic Controller, married to Bonnie. A man between 30 – 40. Vocal range top: E4.
JANICE: Eager new local TV reporter, initially naïve about the world. A woman between 20 – 30. Vocal range top: E5.

NICK: English oil engineer who is focused on his work. A man between 50 – 60. Vocal range top: E4.
KEVIN T: Head of an environmental energy company, on vacation with his boyfriend. A man between 30 – 50. Vocal range top: G4.
KEVIN J: Kevin's boyfriend and secretary, sarcastic and unhappy. A man between 30 – 50.
BOB: A hardened New Yorker, suspicious of where he's landed, ends up losing his jadedness. A man between 20 – 40.
