INHERIT THE WIND
Actors with dexterity in language and rhetoric are encouraged to audition. Classical training is a plus but not required.
SEEKING:
DRUMMOND (Male, 45-55, Black, Indigenous, Asian, Middle Eastern, Latino, White). A deeply principled defense lawyer of Chicago origins. Sharp-witted and charismatic with an unwavering commitment to intellectual freedom.
BRADY (Male, 45-55, White or Mixed Race). When Brady speaks, people are drawn to him. There is no doubt of his personal magnetism. A rural, working-class politician and a firebrand for fundamentalism.
HAIR: THE AMERICAN TRIBAL LOVE-ROCK MUSICAL
SEEKING:
WOOF (Male-identifying, 25-35, Indigenous, Latinx/Latino, Asian, South Asian, Pacific Islander, Indian). A sexually ambiguous, gentle soul. Woof is playful, funny, and obsessed with Mick Jagger. Baritenor.
HUD (Male-identifying, 25-35, Black). A proud, confident and militant member of the tribe. Baritone.
DIONNE (Female-identifying, 25-35, Black). One of the tribe’s most joyful and expressive members. Soprano with strong belt (gospel/soul vocal ability).
