CONTRACT

Off Broadway Periodic Performance; Salary: $17/hour for rehearsals and $85 per performance

SEEKING

All roles have been CAST. Still seeking Female Understudy. Actors may be considered for possible replacements for those roles CAST should they become needed.

All must be strong singers in the pop/rock and Broadway styles and move well.

PREPARATION

Bring headshot and resume, stapled together.
Bring sheet music in the proper key.
Please be prepared to sing a modern pop/rock selection.
Show off belt and range.
Examples from the show to sing are: “Brave,” “Roar,” “Skyscraper,” and “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun.”

Bring your rep book in case asked for another selection.

STILL SEEKING:

Understudy:
Female. Any ethnicity. 30’s. To cover Rosa, Samantha, and Eden. Mezzo Soprano with a strong belt.

The following roles have been CAST:

Narrator
Caucasian female. 50's-60's, reads intelligent and self-confident, yet vulnerable. ROLE IS CAST.

Rosa:
African-American female, 20’s-40's, strong and sassy, able to sing jazz, pop and R&B. ROLE IS CAST.

Samantha:
Female, any ethnicity, 20's to 30's, plays bright but innocent and naive with good comic timing. Able to sing pop, jazz and Broadway. ROLE IS CAST.

Eden:
Caucasian Female 20's to 30's. Sexy, demonstrative. Able to sing Broadway, jazz, pop. ROLE IS CAST.

Synopsis: The story of women, told through top-40 music, from dependent to independent, from Someone To Watch Over Me to I Will Survive.
