APPOINTMENTS

No appointment necessary. AEA actors seen on first come, first seen basis.

CONTRACT

SPT SPT 10 $711/week minimum.

SEEKING

Equity adult actors and actor/singers (18+) for various roles in the upcoming 18-19 season. See breakdown.

PREPARATION

Prepare two contrasting monologues. Or a monologue and 16 bars of a song. An accompanist will be provided. Please bring two pictures and resumes, stapled together.

THE RIVER

Seeking:

THE MAN. Mid to late 40s. Darkly romantic, mysterious and alluring. He can romance a lady while gutting a trout. He yearns for something elusive and unattainable--the love of a perfect woman.

THE WOMAN. 30s. Witty, intelligent, sensitive and vulnerable. Desperate to find a love for herself.

THE OTHER WOMAN. 30s. Teasing and relaxed, sexy and intelligent. She’s no stranger to the ways of fishing or catching a man.

CHRISTMAS ON THE ROCKS

Seeking:

Man
CAST. 40s, character actor who must be able to play multiple Christmas characters who have now aged. They must be able to go from one very distinct character from another and must have great comic timing.

Woman
CAST. 40s character actor who must be able to play multiple Christmas characters who have grown up. The actor must be able to go from one very distinct character to another and must have impeccable comic timing.

Bartender
CAST. Male 60s-70s character actor. He must be the straight man for a lot of jokes, but also be able to communicate directly to the audience with subtle, simple looks. He is willing to go on whatever journey the patrons of his bar take him on. He is a great listener and must be impeccable at giving the stage over to the other two actors without distracting.

TORVALD
Mid - late 50s. Nora’s estranged husband. Mild-mannered, keeps his feelings and emotions close to the vest, though he has many.

ANN MARIE
Late 60s - mid 70s. The Helmer’s nanny. Honest, blunt and big-hearted.

EMMY
18. Nora’s and Torvald’s daughter. An old soul and a romantic; wise and mature in some ways, but still 18.
