THE WORLD GOES ROUND
SYNOPSIS:
Rubicon Theatre Company is seeking master storyteller/singers for Kander and Ebb’s musical revue, The World Goes ‘Round. a theatrical musical revue celebrating the work of Kander & Ebb. While the show is a retrospective of the music, it is crafted as a theatrical piece in that each song tells a story and provides an insight into the character singing. Filled with humor, romance, drama and nonstop melody, the show is a celebration of life and the fighting spirit that keeps us all going. Five individuals find themselves careening through the world of love, babies and coffee. From Cabaret to Chicago, the nonstop hit-parade features unforgettable gems, including Mr. Cellophane, Maybe This Time, Cabaret and New York, New York, seamlessly interwoven into a passionate, harmonious, up tempo evening of musical theatre.
