SEEKING

Equity stage managers for TheatreWorksUSA's touring production of THE POUT-POUT FISH.

Los Angeles-based stage managers are encouraged to submit.

THIS IS A TOURING PRODUCTION. ACTORS AND SM DRVIE THEMSELVES BY COMPANY CAR & VAN TO THEATERS AND SCHOOLS. FULL COMPANY PARTICIPATES IN LOAD IN AND LOAD OUT EACH DAY. COMPANY IS GERNALLY IN A DIFFERENT CITY EACH DAY.

Operating under the Actors’ Equity TWUSA Contract, our stage managers function as the main contact and liaison while out on the road for our office and various venues. Stage managers are responsible for all technical elements, advancing, and logistics for the production. Full touring company includes the SM and 6 Actor/ASMs.

This position is based in the greater Los Angeles area. It operates on a weekly Equity contract with housing provided in accordance with the Equity-TWUSA agreement.

Tour can return to the Los Angeles area throughout the contractual dates and housing will not be provided when tour returns to the greater Los Angeles area.

Tour experience is preferred but not required.

Duties include but are not limited to:

Traditional Stage Management duties as outlined in the Equity-TWUSA agreement

Scheduling the daily calls based on the itinerary supplied

Contacting venues to advance each scheduled performance

Reporting to the office daily

Maintaining all Actors’ Equity TWUSA Contract rules and reporting overtime

Operating the sound and mixing each performance, calling light cues

Submit and code credit card, debit card, and petty cash receipts via online portal

Managing the hotel check in, check out, and any hotel issues that arise onsite

Other duties as assigned

Proficiency in the Microsoft Word and Excel. Knowledge of QLab and Microsoft Teams is a plus.
