Georgia Gabor - a middle school math teacher, Hungarian-American Jewish Holocaust survivor living in Pasadena, CA. She's determined to pass on the lessons of what she's been through. She is speaking primarily to a roomful of middle school math students. 50s, White. Female.
1969 - a curator at The Huntington Library and Botanical Gardens in Pasadena, CA. Speaking to a stranger on a park bench between the Japanese and Chinese gardens. 20s, White or Latina. Female.
1993 - the mother of one of Georgia's students and a volunteer coordinator at the Huntington. Speaking to a new neighbor, whose kids attend school with her daughters. 30s-40s. White. Female.
2020 - a recent graduate of a high school in Pasedena, CA, and a former volunteer at the Huntington. Speaking to a girl down the hall in her freshman dorm. 20s, Asian. Female.
Please bring two contemporary monologues totalling not more than 6 minutes. You'll also be asked to prepare something from the script which you'll be given upon signing up for an audition appointment. Bring with you a printed copy of your headshot and resume, stapled together back to back.
