Breakdown
Note: If given an appointment, be prepared with a brief contemporary monologue that demonstrates your skill with language and your physicality. Sides may also be provided via email or at the audition.
OUTLIERS Theatre Co. is always open to and intentionally practices non-traditional casting. Actors of any ethnicity, race and gender identity are encouraged to submit. Actors with disabilities are also encouraged to submit.
Adventurous actors of any gender and race/ethnicity for the roles of Solange, Claire and Madame.
This project requires strong language skills, a dexterous instrument, and a willingness to work in non-traditional ways. The production will be highly physical. Experience with stage combat and/or devised work is ideal.

CLAIRE:
Any gender. Solange's younger sister. Madame's maid. Finer than her livery. Prone to fantasy. A warped reflection of her sister.
MADAME:
Any gender. Entitled. Easily powerful. The Goddess. The Victim. The Boss. The Turd. Awfully magnanimous when she feels like it. Carried away by a scandal with her lover.
