Equity actors for Female-identifying chorus dancer parts in the Broadway and National Tour of THE LION KING.
Ensemble: strong female identifying dancers with a modern/ballet dance background—late teens to early 30’s.
NOTE: We will definitely be hiring replacements for all North American companies from these auditions.
WE STRONGLY ENCOURAGE DANCERS OF ALL CULTURAL BACKGROUNDS TO ATTEND THIS CALL.
You must be warmed up and ready to dance at your respective date and time in flat jazz shoes or bare feet. Some male identifying dancers require strong acrobatic skills. You may be asked to sing. Please prepare a song
that shows off your voice and range. Bring sheet music. Pianist will be provided. Bring a picture and resume, stapled together. Non-Equity performers will be seen, time permitting.

Equity encourages members to prepare for their audition prior to arriving at the audition venue, to the
extent that they can (e.g., get dressed, hair/make-up, etc.) to avoid crowding in bathrooms and
dressing rooms.

The audition room (301) can accommodate no more than 45 individuals at a time.
The holding room (314) can accommodate no more than 35 individuals at a time.
