PERCY JACKSON
(18+ strong pop-rock tenor) Looking for an actor who can believably play teens . Percy is a 12-year-old boy who finds out he is a demi-god. He is our story’s hero and must have a strong presence, a sense of humor, and be extremely likable. He has a short temper and is very impatient, but is also fiercely loyal and brave. Think Daniel Radcliff, young Johnny Galecki, or Toby Maguire. Especially interested in actors with stage combat or gymnastic experience as this role is very physical.
ANNABETH
(18 + pop-rock high belter to E) Looking for an actress who can believably play teens. Annabeth is smart and strong-willed but she is also incredibly brave and daring. One of Percy’s best friends, and eventual love interest, she joins forces with him to go on a quest to retrieve Zeus’ lightning bolt and save the world from peril.
MR. BRUNNER/CHIRON/ POSEIDON
(18+ to play 30’s) Seeking a versatile tall (over 5’10”) character actor with a strong baritenor/tenor voice. Plays a variety of characters. Must have a great sense of humor and an adult presence. Think Chris Seiber, John Lithgow, or Pierce Brosnan. Please submit all ethnic and physical types.
SALLY JACKSON/CLARISSE
(18+ soprano with high belt to E ) Seeking an excellent pop/rock singer/actor to play Percy’s loving mother and his tough as nails campmate Clarisse. Extremely versatile actress with excellent pop rock vocals. Also plays MRS. DODDS, and THE ORACLE. Please submit all ethnicities.
GROVER
(18+ folk/pop tenor) a happy-go-lucky satyr, like a hippie kid. Percy Jackson’s best friend and protector. Seeking an actor with a great voice and strong comedic chops.
LUKE
(18+ pop/rock baritenor) seeking an extremely versatile actor to play LUKE a camp counselor, son of Hermes, and the guy you wish was your big brother. Cool and charismatic. Must also play GABE UGLANIO, Percy’s disgusting stepfather, and ARES, a tough biker gang leader who is the God of War, and various other characters.
