THE LEGEND OF GEORGIA MCBRIDE
Casey, male, 20s, actor/singer and play guitar. An Elvis impersonator turned drag queen. Optimistic and enthusiastic, but not terribly responsible. A talented performer and very adaptable.
Casey’s wife. Definitely the more organized and grounded member of the pair. Loves Casey but gets very frustrated with his lack of attention to practical matters.
Miss Tracy Mills, male, 40s-50s. An elegant and talented drag queen. Sassy and funny but takes her job very seriously. A consummate professional with a nurturing side. NOTE: Performers with drag experience encouraged to audition.
Rexy/Jason, male, 20s-30s, Basic roller skating.
-Rexy is a younger drag queen and the protégée of Tracy. She’s a good performer when she can hold her liquor and pills. Her devil-may-care attitude belies a difficult youth. NOTE: Performers with drag experience encouraged to audition.
- Jason, is Casey’s best friend and landlord. He’s a laid-back dude, but he likes to have the rent paid on time. NOTE: Rexy and Jason are not the same character, but they are played by the same actor.
Eddie, male, 50s-60s, Tracy’s cousin and Casey’s employer. Owner of a not-too-successful bar in Panama City Beach, FL. A terrible MC who eventually develops some flair with guidance from his cousin.
