BREAKDOWN
All shows at The House are original works which contain a great deal of physicality and spectacle. Artists are often required to sing, dance, perform puppetry, participate in scene changes, play live music, and learn and execute extensive choreography and stage combat, for the purposes of amazing feats of storytelling. At The House, we focus on original storytelling. Please feel free to include any of the above methods -- or your own method of storytelling -- in your audition. Thank you, and we look forward to seeing your work.
SEASON 17: 2018-19 To Be Announced Including:
The Nutcracker created by Jake Minton, Phillip Klapperich, Kevin O'Donnell, and Tommy Rapley based on the story by E.T.A. Hoffmann directed and Choreographed by Tommy Rapley
We bring this wholly original, ballet-free show back year after year because it truly has something for everyone. The show is fast-paced, beautifully choreographed, family-friendly, and moving for even those of us that might be on The Grinch’s side from time to time.
Rehearsals begin: October 1st, Tech begins: October 26th, Opening: November 9th, Closing: December 30th
