LAURA
Female, 26-30. A young woman whose disability and extreme sensitivity have prevented her from engaging in life. She escapes into and is comforted by her music and her glass. She is the peacemaker between Tom and Amanda.

JIM
Male, 26-30. A “normal” young man, genuinely friendly. Optimistic and open, he wants to fix what is broken. Looks to the future for its promise and believes that he will be part of it.
