THE COLLECTION
Harry:
40s-60s. Lives in a fashionable London district with Bill. Suspicious and somewhat on edge.
James:
30s. Lives in Chelsea, London. Jealous, suspicious of his wife; may be capable of violence.
Stella:
30s. Sensual, also sensitive. May be cheating on her husband.
Bill:
30s. Lives with Harry. Cocky and confident.
A KIND OF ALASKA
Deborah:
Mid 40s. Has suffered from encephalitis lethargica (sleeping sickness) since the age of 16. Tries to makes sense of her surroundings and circumstances after awakening from a 29- year sleep.
Hornbey:
Early 60s. Deborah’s doctor. He has cared for her and stayed by her side since the onset of her condition.
Pauline:
Early 40s. Deborah’s younger sister. Has been devoted to caring for Deborah throughout her illness, and treats her with kid gloves in her new, awakened state.
