APPOINTMENTS
Auditions by appointment only by emailing athenswestauditions@gmail.com. Please include in your email which days and times you are available, as well as an indication as to whether or not you belong to Actors’ Equity Association. You will be emailed back with a confirmed appointment. Please note that actors must audition in person in order to be considered. Local hires preferred.
CONTRACT
SPT SPT 3; $327/week minimum.
SEEKING
Male and female actors for the upcoming production of THE CHRISTIANS by Lucas Hnath. See breakdown for details.
PREPARATION
The audition will consist of cold readings from the script. Please bring a resume and
headshot.
Auditionees interested in reading the play in advance may do so at the Lexington
Downtown Public Library, 140 East Main Street, where the script is kept on reserve.

BREAKDOWN
Note: actors of all ethnicities are encouraged to audition, as casting will be non-traditional. The role of Pastor Paul has been CAST.
Elizabeth: 40-60, female. Paul’s patient, but strong-willed, wife.
Jay: 50-70, male. A practical, but nervous, elder of the church.
Joshua: 25-45, male. Fiery, passionate, associate pastor of the church.
Jenny: 30-60, female. Devoted congregant of the church, otherwise barely making ends meet.
