A company of actors for Pittsburgh CLO’s production of THE BOOK OF MERMAN.

- Prepare an up-tempo (16 bars) and ballad (16 bars), simple and direct, that shows you.

Please be prepared to clear your schedule on Monday, August 26 (Hours TBD) for callbacks. Callbacks will include a movement call.
An Equity Monitor will not be provided. The producer will run all aspects of audition.

Ethel Merman! A role model, an icon, a star! Self indulgent, yet finds joy in sharing some of her brilliance with others. The original brassy Broadway Diva…or IS she? Range F#3 - D5
ELDER BRAITHWAITE:
A Mormon missionary. A rule-follower. Passionate, driven, young, and earnest. A genuine believer. He is completely and wholly devoted to the Church and his mission…But is also harboring a secret! Range: A2 - G#4
ELDER SHUMWAY:
A Mormon missionary, who is getting tired of the same old, boring routine. He is slowly fading from believing in this whole Mormon thing. BUT he does believe in BROADWAY! He is the companion to Braithwaite, young and not as devoted to the mission, wants to be a star! AND harbors a secret of his own. Range: A2 - G#4
