SYNOPSIS: Four sisters return to their family home off the Georgia coast, and work their way through the fabric of life, chance, and their own choices after their mother’s funeral. The sisters shared the same mother, but all have different fathers.
CLEMENTINE – 40s. Black. Oldest sister. Sweet and sour like her namesake. The keeper of the quilting stitches. Holds the family together. She was the one closest to Mama, the death has been hardest on her, the piece keeper.
GIO –40s. Black. Second born sister. A police officer, in the midst of a fierce divorce. Big-mouthed and doesn't hold anything in, except her vulnerability. Uses humor to disguise a deep well of pain.
CASSAN - 30s. Black. Third born sister. An army nurse, kinda bitter, but in no way mean, married to a man in the military who is always on a tour of duty, the only sister with a daughter, struggling with being a married, single parent. Pragmatic.
AMBER – 20s. Black. Youngest sister. Works as an entertainment lawyer in Hollywood. The favorite. Extremely enterprising, ambitious to a fault. A privilege and a preference that’s been afforded to her. Pulled up and precise.
ZAMBIA – 18+ to play teens. Black. Cassan's daughter. Wildly searching for her identity in the age of TMI. Outspoken, unafraid of taking risks and open to trying anything once.
