NEWSIES: (All Gender Identities to play Male-Presenting and Female-Presenting Newsies, Late teens - Mid 20s) Strong Dancer/Singers to play various Newsies. Dancers should have strong ballet, jazz technique with a modern, hip-hop edge. Newsies are tough and street-smart with gregarious hearts they reveal only to their closest friends. Tap a plus. MALE-PRESENTING CHARACTER ENSEMBLE: (Male-Presenting, 20s-50s.) Strong Singer/Actors to play various roles including Bunsen, Stage Manager, Mayor, Governor, Wiesel and various citizens of NYC. Singer/Movers
FEMALE-PRESENTING ENSEMBLE: (Female-Presenting, 20s–30s.) Strong Singer/Actors to play various Ensemble roles including Showgirl, Nun, Bowery Beauty and Hannah. Good movers, with a sense of period/style.

EMMA GOLDMAN: (She/Her, 30s to 40s, Eastern European/Jewish) Feminist anarchist. Strong willed and intense. Alto Belt.
EVELYN NESBIT: (She/Her, to play Early 20s, Caucasian) Sexy starlet love by all men, but smart enough to use it. Soprano with Mix. Strong Dancer.
