BREAKDOWN
SPREAD
For THE BOYS - All will be 18+ to play younger. All of these characters are male or non-binary.
SEEKING:
THE BOYS!
JEFFREY R.: 9th grader, a boy; old enough for 10th grade. Sweet, sad, big heart, athletic. Should be the most athletic/fit of the bunch. Afro-Latino. Specifically Black-Puerto Rican. The sweet-sad-boy energy and athleticism feel like the more essential vibes.
ANDREW R.: 9th grader, a boy; smart enough for 11th. Cruel, sensitive, lonely, the smallest. Truly, should be the smallest boy in the group, but brutal; big presence. Witty. Black American.
JORDAN M.: 9th grader, a boy; did 4th grade twice cuz of a crush. Big, heavy set, kind, tired lil bear. Mexican or Mexican-American. A sort of teddy-bear/class-clown energy to him.
CHRIS V.: 9th grader, a boy; 9th grade, on top of it. Cool, romantic, brutal. Big brother energy. Mexican, Mexican-American, or multi-racial. Should be cool. Maybe the tallest boy in the group? Someone Andrew would be envious of.
AN ADULT!
MR. R. (Mr. Rodríguez): A teacher; broke but loves the students. Will double as the voice any other unseen adult, like the GUEST SPEAKER, THE ADMIN, THE OFFICE ANNOUNCEMENTS.
