SEEKING

Actors for 2017 season in Lenox, Massachusetts: 4,000 Miles by Amy Herzog, Intimate Apparel by Lynn Nottage, Wharton One Acts - Roman Fever and The Fullness of Life adapted by Dennis Krausnick, God of Carnage by Yasmina Reza. See breakdowns.

PREPARATION

Please prepare two short contrasting monologues for presentation and bring a picture and resume, stapled together.

OTHER DATES

4,000 Miles: 1st rehearsal May 2rd; runs May 25th through July 16th, 3-4 times per week (SPT Tier 3)
Intimate Apparel: 1st rehearsal June 27th; runs July 20th through August 13th, 7 times per week (SPT Tier 9)
Wharton One Acts: 1st rehearsal August 1st; runs August 17th through September 10th, 6 times per week (SPT Tier 7)
God of Carnage: 1st rehearsal August 23nd, runs September 14th through October 11th, 3-4 times per week (SPT Tier 3)


OTHER

All roles will be understudied. Callbacks will be announced and scheduled at auditions.

An Equity Monitor will not be provided. The producer will run all aspects of this audition.

All rehearsal and performance dates are in 2017. All roles that are listed as pre-cast have been cast without auditions; * for pre-cast roles, auditioning performers will be considered as possible replacements, should any become necessary.

Available roles (see * above): All actors -- extensive voice and physical practice as well as familiarity with Shakespeare & Company text methods preferred. The right performer in the role is more important than traditional casting and all roles are acceptable for non-traditional casting unless otherwise specified; we seek and strongly encourage participation by performers of all races and ethnicities.
