SEEKING:
- LUKE DIAZ (30s, Latino) Good looking, but disheveled. A gay playwright struggling with a debilitating case of writer’s block. He’s nearly 3 weeks late delivering his latest play, but has barely written half of the first act. He is frustrated, but bright, articulate and argumentative. BRIEF REAR NUDITY.
- AL (28-38 Any ethnicity) It’s complicated — AL is the first Beta Test of an “animatronic companion” powered by a highly advanced A.I. Program. Al is very attractive, built to be a physical/sexual ideal. As Al describes himself “I am just one beta test of one highly advanced self-learning artificial intelligence program that is housed in just one intricate animatronic replica of just one smokin’ hot guy.” Al is naive - Intelligence without experience, but since the programming is self-learning, Al quickly becomes more lifelike and more complicated as the play progresses. BRIEF REAR NUDITY.
- PORTER ANAD (40s — any ethnicity) Visionary tech genius. He takes it for granted that he is always the smartest person in the room. This can lead him to be arrogant and demanding. He is getting ready for a hardware launch on his new creation — Fully Animatronic Intimate Companions. Luke is his ex-boyfriend.
