He is priveledged and confident, naive, believes his hard work will pay off and is willing to take advantage of any opportunity.
Martin
(mid to late 20s) an artist, a real writer, slightly tortured, victim of inertia, prone to see the world in a negative light, but does have hope. He’s hopeful, but expects the worst.
Leonard
(early/mid 50s), disgraced writer who is done as a publishing entity. He is the teacher of this writing seminar, cynical, world weary, but still passionate, hedonistic, egotistical
