ACTOR 1, black, versatile, charismatic, comfortable engaging the audience, sings. Roles include: Praise Brother 1 - Bo Willie, Blues Man (plays washboard), Decca Producer, Dizzy Gillespie, Willis Atkins (Rosetta’s father) plays the harmonica, Ensemble.
ACTOR 2, black, 30’ish, sings. Roles include: Praise brother 3, Stage Manager, Lucky Millinder, Dancer w/Blues Man, Ensemble.
ACTOR 3, black, 30’ish, large and imposing, charismatic
