Bring picture and resume, stapled together each day ======== 2015 SEASON MONTY PYTHON’S SPAMALOT Book and Lyrics by Eric Idle Music by John Du Prez and Eric Idle Director, Keith Andrews Music Director, Thomas Cleary 1st Reh: 6/1. Runs: 6/16 – 6/27/15 LADY OF THE LAKE (30s – 40s): The enchanting diva. Strong, beautiful, possesses mystical powers. The leading lady of the show. Great singing voice is essential, as she must be able to sing effortlessly in many styles and vocal registers. SIR ROBIN (30s-40s): A Knight of the Roundtable. Ironically called ‘Sir Robin the Brave,’ though he couldn’t be more cowardly. Joins the Knights for the singing and dancing. Also plays other characters. SIR LANCELOT (30s-40): A Knight of the Roundtable. He is fearless to a bloody fault but through a twist of fate, does discover his softer side. Also plays other characters. PATSY (30s-40s): King Arthur’s horse and servant. Underappreciated but always longing for King Arthur’s approval. Good, funny, physical mover with some tap dancing. Also plays other characters. SIR GALAHAD (30s): A Knight of the Roundtable. Begins as Dennis, a lower class ‘mud gatherer’ who becomes Knighted and transforms into the dashing Sir Galahad. Also plays other characters. SIR BEDEVERE (20s-40s): A Knight of the Roundtable. An inept scholar. Also plays other characters. Roles of KING ARTHUR and PATSY are cast. WAIT UNTIL DARK By Frederick Knott Adapted by Jeffrey Hatcher Director, Sarah Carleton 1st Reh: 6/17. Runs: 7/1 – 7/11/15 SGT CARLINO (40s-50s): A professional con-man recently out of jail. A small time thug who thinks he’s a criminal mastermind. A follower. HARRY ROAT (40s-50s): A brutal and sophisticated criminal and a master of disguise. Threatening and unpredictable. SUSY HENDRIX (Late 20s-mid30s): She is blind and vulnerable, yet extremely perceptive and clever. SAM HENDRIX (30s-40s): Susy’s husband. A friendly and outgoing photographer. MIKE TALMAN (30s-40s): Seems charming and sincere and gains Susy’s trust. A good liar with a ruthless streak. Likable and charismatic, with a dark side. The Producer intends to cast the role of GLORIA (12 year old) with a local juvenile actor. OUTSIDE MULLINGAR By John Patrick Shanley Director, Kathryn Markey 1st Reh: 6/29. Runs: 7/15 – 7/25/15 ANTHONY (Early-mid 40s): A dreamer. Intense. Dutiful and quiet. His subdued manner masks a full, yearning heart. Resigned to a life alone because he’s afraid to reveal himself. Sensitive and guarded. ROSEMARY (Late 30s-early 40s): A farmer’s daughter - tough. A bit of a tomboy, but with a romantic soul. Single-minded, willful, patient and optimistic. Her hopes are fervent, but secret. She’s playing the long game. Roles of TONY and AOIFE are cast. = WOODY GUTHRIE’S AMERICAN SONG Created by Peter Glazer Director, Larry Tobias 1st Reh: 7/16. Runs: 7/29 – 8/8/15 Seeking: 2 women and 3 men. The five actors play a variety of roles, sing both solo and group numbers, and play various musical instruments. All of the men handle spoken words of Woody Guthrie but do not need to look like him. All actors must have an authentic folk music style and sound, and a genuine affinity for the music of Woody Guthrie.
