As of October 1, 2021, Producer has a mandatory COVID 19 vaccination policy for employment. ELVIS PRESLEY– 20s; male; singer/guitar player. Elvis in his 20s at the beginning of his career. Note: Must be familiar with his music and be able to play guitar; should sound and look somewhat like Elvis without being an “impersonator”.

DYANNE – Sexy, smart, great rock belt and great singer with a wide range. She was an aspiring singer and Elvis’s girlfriend. 20’s

JERRY LEE LEWIS – 20s; male; singer/pianist; he was rock & roll’s legendary piano prodigy and celebrated “Last Man Standing.” A superb piano player, able to play like Jerry Lee Lewis; fun, energetic; comic skills a plus.

CARL PERKINS – mid 20s; male; singer/guitar player (lead guitar); he was the American pioneer of rockabilly music and best known for his song “Blue Suede Shoes”; An excellent lead guitarist.

JOHNNY CASH– mid 20s; male; singer/guitar player. Johnny cash at the dawn of his epic career. Note: Must be familiar with his music and be able to play guitar; tall; should sound and look somewhat like Johnny without being an “impersonator”.

SAM PHILLIPS – 33; “Father of Rock’n’Roll” and founder of Sun Records who discovered Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, Carl Perkins, and many others including Roy Orbison and B.B. King; a towering and charismatic figure in American music;

BROTHER JAY – mid 20s; bass player, brother of Carl Perkins

[FRANKIE VALLI] Male Identifying, 20-30s, White. 5'9 or shorter. Front man of The Four Seasons and the clear star of the group. Sings in the style of Frankie Valli - Tenor to high A or Bb with a strong falsetto up to treble G. Very comfortable with traditional four-part harmonies. A classic boy from New Jersey. Charismatic and charming with both a gritty side as well as a polished veneer.

[BOB GAUDIO] Male Identifying, 20-30s, White. 6’0” or taller. Keyboardist and songwriter of The Four Seasons. Tenor/bari-tenor voice with high belt G-natural. Very comfortable with traditional four-part harmonies. An intelligent, sensitive, and introspective musical prodigy. Compared to the other band members, he is straight-laced and polished. Ability to play piano a plus but not required.

[TOMMY DEVITO] Male Identifying, 20-30s, White. Lead guitarist and baritone of The Four Seasons. Tenor/bari-tenor voice. Very comfortable with traditional four-part harmonies. A natural-born leader with an appealing, bad-boy quality that is hard to dislike. Always a bit of a wild card, reckless and impulsive. Ability to play guitar a plus but not required.

[NICK MASSI] Male Identifying, 20-30s, White. Bass player and bass of The Four Seasons. Bass/baritone voice to Low E. Very comfortable with traditional four-part harmonies. A quiet dreamer who longs for life after The Four Seasons. Introspective and a man of little words.

[BOB CREWE] Male Identifying, 30-40s, White. Producer and lyricist of The Four Seasons. An integral part of creating the magic of The Four Seasons. Intelligent and well-spoken. Flamboyant and enthusiastic. Baritone voice.

[GYP DECARLO] Male Identifying, 40s-50, White. A mob boss. Gets the boys out of trouble more than once, and in return the group is obligated to grant him favors. A Mafioso-type character with a strong singing voice.

Janet (Female) 20s – Adam’s fiancé. A smart and level-headed young woman. She is in love with Adam, but not entirely trusting of him.

Ray (Male) 60s - Ray was the best friend of Adam’s deceased father. A curmudgeon and unabashed conspiracy theorist, Ray has a big mouth, a bigger heart, and an answer for everything.

Palmer (Male) 40’s - A mysterious stranger; there are layers of potential menace beneath his cool, detached exterior.

[CHARLIE PRICE] Male, late 20s - early 30s, Caucasian. Just out of university, a really nice guy who has no clue what to do with the rest of his life. He’s handsome, lovable, but there’s a temper right under the skin. Henpecked by his girlfriend and a little lost. Has a great rock belt to a Bb.

[LOLA/SIMON] Male, early 30’s, Black. An emotionally and physically challenging role. Has the body of a boxer, with the soul of a Diva. A scene-stealing drag performer. Has a killer voice with power blues and gospel chops. Sings to a Bb. Lola dances in very high heels and so must move well. This role calls for a STAR. This is the Tony Award Winning role originated by actor Billy Porter.

[LAUREN] Female, 20s, any ethnicity. Beautiful working class girl, who is funny, smart, practical and focused, but has had bad luck with men. Has a pop voice with belt and comedic chops.

[NICOLA] Female, 20s, any ethnicity. Charlie's girlfriend since school. Steel willed, she is driven and uncompromising. She knows what she wants and goes for it. Has a great pop voice.

[DON] Male, 30s – 40s, Caucasian. Lola’s nemesis. Burly hyper-masculine bear of a factory worker. Has a strong pop/rock voice.

[GEORGE] Male, 40s-50s, any ethnicity. Factory manager keeping up traditions. Reserved.

[YOUNG CHARLIE] Male identifying. Vocal range top: D5. Vocal range bottom: G4. Charlie as a seven-year-old boy. Lost, quiet, reflective.

[YOUNG LOLA/SIMON] Male identifying. Vocal range top: D5 Vocal range bottom: G3. Lola as a ten year old boy who already knows he's destined to wear high heels.
