SEEKING:

Drew Boley: Male-identifying, any race/ethnicity, 20s - An appealing, sweet, good-guy rocker with great youthful charm and vulnerability. Drew works as a barback at the legendary Bourbon Room hoping and waiting for his rockstar dreams to come true. Has easy comedic timing and a very strong rock tenor voice. (Vocal Range: Bb3-D5)

Lonny Barnett: Male-identifying, any race/ethnicity, 30s - 40s - The omnipotent narrator of the piece; charming, mischievous, welcoming, vibrant personality who works at the Bourbon Room. A guy who would be fun to spend one drunken night with. A slightly charmless appearance but doesn’t see it. Strong, honest comedic timing/improv skills and strong rock vocals. Also Record Company Man (Vocal Range: D3-D5)

Dennis Dupree: Male-identifying, any race/ethnicity, 30s - 40s - A stoner type guy who runs the famous Bourbon Room club on the Sunset Strip. He is caught between a rock and a hard place when German businessperson, Hertz, pressures him to sell his club. A laid back, easy going, dude’s real dude with a big presence. Very strong comedic timing and Bari-tenor rock vocals. Also Record Company Man (Vocal Range: D3-G4)

Stacee Jaxx: Male-identifying, any race/ethnicity, 30s - 40s - An egotistical, sexy rockstar. Both villainous and hilarious. He is at the top of his game and just left his very successful metal rock band to venture out on his own. Arrogant and charming, his life is a merry-go-round of good old sex, drugs and rockn-roll. Very strong comedic timing and strong rock tenor voice. Also Sherrie’s father. (Vocal Range: C3-Eb5)

Hertz Klinemann: Male-identifying, any race/ethnicity, 40s - 60s - An alluring older German. Uptight, cold, intimidating businessperson trying to buy up the Strip to develop it. He is our villain and has a commanding presence with strong comedic timing and baritone vocals. Has a good German accent. (Vocal Range: F3-G#4)

Franz Klinemann: Any gender, any race/ethnicity, 20s -30s - Hertz’s foppish child, young German. Works for their father but not by choice. Pressured and intimidated by their father. Shy, gentle with a big heart. Strong vocals and comedic timing. Has a good German accent. (Vocal Range: Db3-E5)

Sherrie Christian: Female-identifying, any race/ethnicity, 20s - A fresh-faced, innocent Midwestern girl stepping right off the bus into a new world to pursue her dreams of stardom in LA. Strong comedic timing, strong rock belt, and good movement ability. (Vocal Range: G3-F5)

Justice Charlier: Female-identifying, Black/African American, 40s - 50s - Has a commanding presence and an easy sensuality about her. Once a performer, she now operates a strip club where Sherrie winds up working. Takes on the maternal role for her employees. She is sultry, maternal and a sexy madam. Strong vocals and belt. Also Sherrie’s mother. (Vocal Range: G3-Db5)

Regina: Any gender, any race/ethnicity, 20s - 30s - A fun, hippie-type, tree-hugging fighter and huge rock n’ roll fan with a revolutionary spirit who will stop at nothing to protect the Sunset Strip. Strong comedic timing and belt vocals. Also Candi. (Vocal Range: A3-Eb5)
