RABBIT HOLE – OPEN Auditions

The Hampton Theatre Company Quogue, NY (Long Island)

Equity Special Appearance Contract, Tier 2; $200/week

1st rehearsal: mid-September. Runs: 10/21 – 11/7, Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings and Sunday afternoons

OPEN Auditions (Equity/non):

Sunday, August 29, 2010 at the Quogue Community Hall

2 PM – 4 PM Jessup Avenue

Monday, August 30, 2010 Quogue (Long Island), NY

7 PM – 9 PM

No monologue or appointment necessary. All will read from the script at the audition.

Bring picture and resume, stapled together.

All roles except Nat are open.

Becca:

Late 30s - early 40s, a woman who has given up her city career to raise a family in the suburbs and has just lost her four-year-old son to a car accident – tightly-wound, efficient, isolated in her grief, controlled but on the brink of explosion.

Izzy:

Early 30s, Becca's younger sister, unmarried and pregnant, whose messy life is in stark contrast to Becca's orderly one.

Howie:

Late 30s - 40s, Becca's husband, a kind man, trying to cope with the loss of his young son and the distance the tragedy has placed between him and his wife.

Jason:

17, the sweet, lonely and sensitive teenage boy responsible for the fatal accident.
