PREPARATION
Please prepare no more than TWO MINUTES TOTAL of audition material, whether one contemporary dramatic/ comedic monologue, or one dramatic and one comedic monologue. Please time your material, we will strictly adhere to this limit. A song is not being requested, and no accompanist will be present.

First produced in 1999, based on taped interviews with a cross section of those living and observing unique issues along the U.S.-Mexican border, is being revised to addresses current socio-economic issues and emotional climate. Culture Clash members will reprise multiple roles, as well as integrate two new actors into the production:
Female, Latina, non-age specific – will play multiple characters
Female, Middle-Eastern, non-age specific – will play multiple characters
A show specific EPA was previously held in May of 2017 for our upcoming production of Our Town, by Thornton Wilder.
We are not seeking performers for The Hypocrites Theatre Company production of The Pirates of Penzance, which The Pasadena Playhouse will be presenting in January and February of 2018. This production's roles have been pre-cast by The Hypocrites Theatre Company, who are based in Chicago, IL.
Auditioning AEA members will also be considered for an as yet to be announced holiday production in December, 2017, outside of the Pasadena Playhouse's mainstage subscription season.
