BREAKDOWN
OTHER WAYS TO RESIST:
4-6 Characters, any ethnicity, any gender identity. Other Ways to Resist is a festival of new work that will be a compilation of 3-4 half hour plays. The tracking of the characters between plays will depend entirely on the actors that we select for the production.
BIRDS OF A FEATHER:
One woman and three men play 24 roles broken down as follows:
Zookeeper, Paula Zahn and Female Birder (Female - sharp, witty, biting)
Roy, Pale Male, Bombshell, Betty, Gayer, Bored, Teen Tango, Chastity Wright (Male, macho, hyper masculine yet surprisingly soft around the edges)
Silo, Lola, Bombshell, Porkey, Gayest, Preening, Announcer, Grown up Tango (Male, soft but strong, leads with his heart)
Birder, Gay, Man in Coveralls, Wanna-Be, Richard Cohen (Male, strong, simple, unsuspecting)
