Equity actors for roles in Nashville Children’s Theatre’s “Courageously Me!” 2023-24

NCT encourages local Nashville area actors to audition.

PREPARATION

Prepare two contrasting monologues together totaling no more than three (3) minutes. To be considered for any musicals, prepare a brief cut of a show tune with sheet music to supply to our accompanist in the desired key and include the cut within your three (3) minute audition time. Please make sure to bring your book in case you are asked to sing an additional song. If you play a musical instrument, please bring and play in your three (3) minute time. Please bring a current headshot and resume.

BREAKDOWN

Equity encourages everyone participating in the auditions to wear a two-ply cloth face mask, surgical mask, singer’s mask or respirator (N95, KN95 or KF94). Single-ply face masks, gaiters and bandanas

are not recommended. Singer’s masks can be found at www.broadwayreliefproject.com/singersmask.

Equity encourages members to prepare for their audition prior to arriving at the audition venue, to the extent that they can (e.g., get dressed, hair/make-up, etc.) to avoid crowding in bathrooms and dressing rooms.

Holding/Audition room information:

The audition room can accommodate no more than 20 individuals at a time.
