Adult singers and actors who move well.
PREPARATION
Please prepare 32 bars of an upbeat contemporary pop song for Madagascar. For Neverland, please prepare 32 bars of a contemporary musical theatre song (uptempo or ballad) If auditioning for both be prepared with 16 bars of both songs.
Please bring headshot and resume stapled together.

BREAKDOWN
NEVERLAND:
WENDY: (Teens-20s, to play 13) No longer a little girl, Wendy is still looking to find herself a great adventure. At times cynical of Peter’s magical qualities, she is also innocent and naïve about some of the harsher realities of the real world.
PETER: (Teens-20s, to play 10-12 years-old) Peter is an imaginative, mischievous young boy who lives in a children’s home in south London. He sees magic in the world where others don’t, and truly fancies himself the real-life Peter Pan.
MR. DARLING / CAPTAIN HOOK / GARAGE ATTENDANT: (30s-40s) Mr. Darling works at the children’s care home and lives in a rather rough part of south London. He is a loving father trying to maintain his relationship with his daughter, Wendy, now that he is separated from her mother. He takes on the role of the evil Captain Hook in Peter and Wendy’s imagination. This Hook is sometimes silly, but also has a darker side. This actor also briefly plays a Garage Attendant.
Madagascar: A Musical Adventure
Marty - Marty is a zebra with a sweet disposition and dreams of exploring beyond the confines of the Central Park Zoo and into the wild.
Alex: Alex, the lion, is the main attraction at the Central Park Zoo and undoubtedly “The King of New York City.” He’s a fun-loving fella whose devotion to steak is matched only by his devotion to his friends.
Gloria: Gloria, the hippopotamus, is a bold young woman with a maternal streak that shines when she’s with her three closest friends: Alex, Marty and Melman.
Melman: Melman is a kind-hearted giraffe who is a bit of a hypochondriac. He’s always just a little bit nervous, but when it comes down to it, he’ll rise to the occasion.
King Julien / Zeke / Police Officer / Ship's Captain / Foosa: King Julien is the outrageous king of the Lemurs, a wild band of creatures native to Madagascar trying desperately to avoid being eaten by the cat-like creatures called the Foosa.
Skipper (Penguin) / Lars Lemur / Server #4: The Penguins are a group of birds on a mission: bust out of the zoo and return home to Antarctica. Skipper serves as the captain of the group, giving orders with ease and command. The Lemurs are a wild band of creatures native to Madagascar trying desperately to avoid being eaten by the cat-like creatures called the Foosa. Servers are imagined servers in Alex’s dream when he starts to desire meat desperately!
Kowalski (Penguin) / Foosa Leader / Server #2: The Penguins are a group of birds on a mission: bust out of the zoo and return home to Antarctica. Kowalski is Skipper’s second-in-command and a dutiful one at that. The Foosa are cat-like predators with an appetite for Lemurs! The Foosa Leader is the biggest and baddest of the Foosa and is feared by most of the creatures in Madagascar. Servers are imagined servers in Alex’s dream when he starts to desire meat desperately!
Private (Penguin) / Mort / Server #1: The Penguins are a group of birds on a mission: bust out of the zoo and return home to Antarctica. Private’s primary job in the group is to maintain the cute and fuzzy disguise. Mort is the littlest of the Lemurs, a wild band of creatures native to Madagascar trying desperately to avoid being eaten by the cat-like creatures called the Foosa. Servers are imagined servers in Alex’s dream when he starts to desire meat desperately!
