Preparation
Prepare 16 bars of a Motown song that shows range. Bring sheet music; a piano accompanist will be provided. Bring a photo/resume stapled together.

Breakdown

Because most of these characters are real people, although we are not seeking impersonators, we do want actors that evoke the look and sound of these music icons. Please research photos of those you don’t know and submit only talent you believe could play these characters. Skin tone and body type should be similar.

FEMALE ENSEMBLE
Characters are Caucasian and African American, ages 18 to 40s. Seeking singers with great pop/ rock voices who moves very well to play various characters in the world of Motown.

MALE ENSEMBLE
Characters are African American and Caucasian, ages 18 to 40s. Seeking singers with great pop/ rock voices who moves very well to play various characters in the world of Motown.
