Equity actors for roles in MIRACLE ON 34TH STREET (See breakdown).

Performers of all ethnicities, physical types, gender identities, and ages are encouraged to audition.

There are no stage management positions available.

All roles will be understudied.

PREPARATION

Please prepare a short song in the style of the show. Singing from the show is fine. Please bring a picture and resume, stapled together.

SEEKING:

Kris Kringle – Character man, Baritone, 40+ Kind old man who truly believes he is Santa Claus

Doris Walker – Leading lady, Mezzo 28-35 Smart, attractive, strong no-nonsense woman hiding a sentimental side underneath

Fred Gailey – Leading man, Baritone 28–45 Handsome, smart attorney with charm and a sense of humor.

Susan Walker – 8-year-old girl, daughter of Doris. Precocious, curious, with a strong singing voice. Mr. Shellhammer – Comic character man 30-50 Nervous type. Manager of the Toy Department

Mr. Sawyer – Character man, Baritone 30-50 Store psychologist. Petty, bitter, with an axe to grind against Kris

Judge Henry Harper – Character man, Baritone 30-50. A serious but easily rattled judge worried about his political future. Knows his civic duty.

Ensemble - Various women and men all ages and ethnicities to play an assortment of character roles.
