Breakdown
SYNOPSIS: Martin Luther’s trial, as requested by The Devil, takes place in Purgatory, Katie, as Katherina Von Bora, Luther’s wife, is charged with defending him. The multiple characters, past and present, are called forth to testify.
NOTE: Seeking for actors with good, clear voices who can handle complex language.
SEEKING THE FOLLOWING:
The Devil
Male, to play 30’s-50’s. Smart, charming, witty. Any ethnicity.
Katie
Female, to play 20’s-30’s, Martin Luther’s wife. Attractive, smart and impetuous. Caucasian.
Saint Peter
Male, to play 40’s-60’s. Should have a fatherly feel to him. Mediterranean coloring preferred. Actors of Middle Eastern descent are especially encouraged to attend.
Martin Luther
Male, to play 30’s-40’s. Lots of charisma. An intellect with a large emotional range. Caucasian.
