Breakdown
Auditions will be held DECEMBER 7, 2014 (Los Angeles) and DECEMBER 8, 2014 (San Francisco) by appointment. We are unable to hold east coast auditions at this time. However, we do consider and encourage submissions from all over the country.
Sierra Repertory Theatre is accepting pictures/resumes for the following roles in MARY POPPINS.
MARY POPPINS:
Female, ages 20-39. Mezzo Soprano with strong top. Excellent singer who moves well. Stern and loving at the same time. Star quality with a touch of whimsy. Proper British accent.
BERT:
Male, 20-39. Baritone to G. Cockney chimney sweep, artist, general handy-man and friend to Mary Poppins. Excellent singer and dancer with comic ability. Charming and charismatic. Excellent cockney accent.
GEORGE BANKS:
Male, 39-50. Baritone. Stiff upper lipped bank manager who tries to be a good provider but forgets how to be a good father. Is transformed the most by Mary's influence. Proper British accent.
WINIFRED BANKS:
Female, 39-50. Mezzo Soprano. Loving, kind mother struggling to find herself as a woman in addition to being a wife and mother. Proper British accent.
