Synopsis - Sports produces great human drama and there is no greater sports icon to bring to theatrical life than Hall of Fame football coach Vince Lombardi, unquestionably one of the most inspirational and quotable personalities of all time. Though football's Super Bowl trophy is named for him, few know the real story of Lombardi the man—his inspirations, his passions and ability to drive people to achieve what they never thought possible.

Seeking:
Marie Lombardi
Caucasian female, 40-55 – His wife; strong, intelligent Jersey Italian woman of certain time that loved and supported her husband above all else; feisty and opinionated and loved her cocktails, the only person who can really challenge him and can do so without ever raising her voice.
Michael McCormick
Caucasian male, 20-35 – A young, Jersey Irish, motivated reporter sent on assignment to spend a week with Lombardi and Marie in their home for a feature story; after the real story, not necessarily one that will make Lombardi happy.
Paul Hornung
Caucasian male, 20-39 - The “golden boy” Hall of Famer who played for the Green Bay Packers from 1957-1966; an All-American well-known for his charm and good looks; was the first pro player to win the Heisman Trophy, be the first overall selection in the NFL Draft, win the NFL MVP, and be inducted to into both the professional and college football hall of fame. Physically, this actor must believably look like a football player
Dave Robinson
Male, African Descent, African American, 20-39 – Linebacker for the Green Bay Packers from 1963-1972; had a difficult but respectful relationship with Lombardi; team representative to the Players’ Association; diplomatic and strong, embodies the pride and work ethic Lombardi teaches. Physically, this actor must believably look like a football player.
Jim Taylor
Caucasian male, 20-39 – Fullback for the Green Bay Packers from 1958-1966. All-American at LSU and unstoppable on the field; quiet and powerful. Physically, this actor must believably look like a football player.
