Breakdown

Synopsis: When Vito, celebrated diva Raquel De Angelis's larger-than-life maestro husband, becomes enamored with the lovely young lady hired to ghostwrite his largely fictional autobiography, Raquel retaliates by hiring her own handsome, young scribe to chronicle her life as an opera star. Sparks fly, silverware is thrown, and romance blossoms in the most unexpected ways in this brand new hilarious comedy.

Raquel De Angelis
50s - One of the greatest opera singers on the planet, she couldn’t be more bequiling. When Raquel De Angelis enters a room, everyone in the room knows it. Role requires some operatic singing.

Vito De Angelis
50s - Her husband. One of the greatest conductors on the planet. His Italian accent is thick. His temper is legendary. He has Einstein hair.

Robert Samson
Late 30s- early 40s – A young, somewhat nervous writer. Forced to ghost write for a living.

Iris Peabody
Late 20s– early 30s – A young, dedicated, determined career woman.

Bruce
A servant – 50s - early 60

Eric
A similar servant – 50s – early 60
