LET'S LOVE
The Broad: CAST. 50s. (she/her) She has seen it all and now drinks, remembering it all.
Man: 50s-60s. (he/him) Black. He melancholically reflects on a life which has been satisfying enough that you couldn’t call it failure but not satisfying enough to call a smashing success.
Susan: CAST. 40. (she/her) She rides the roller-coaster of her feelings.
Tough: 40s-50s. (he/him) He’s alarmingly masculine. It’s a surprise to learn he has feelings.
Dan: 40s. (he/him) He’s alarmingly sensitive — ever ready to expose his feelings, and to discuss the feelings of others.
Fay: 40s. (she/her) Partner of Dan. She wears the pants.
Howie: 30s. (he/him) Jewish, friendly, callow — or so it seems.
Boy: 20s-30s. (he/him) Self-aware, self-deprecating, not a social genius but able to value the awkward parts of himself.
Girl: 20s-30s. (she/her) Open, genuine, and able to value the misfits that most of her peers would disdain.
Colleague: 30s. (he/him) Co-worker of Boy. A bro. The least sentimental person in the office, possibly in the world.
