SEEKING

Equity actors for chorus dancer parts in KISS OF THE SPIDER WOMAN.

MALE ENSEMBLE (Dancers) Characters are male (cis, transgender, or non-binary), 20s–40s. Advanced dancers who sing. Strong technical dancers who can play various roles including prisoners, guards, men and women in Aurora’s fantasy. Partnering experience a plus.

NOTE: This play takes place in a prison in Central America. Multiple ethnicities are found throughout the population, including migrant arrivals from Mexico, South America, Italy, Spain, and the Caribbean. Because of the world of the play, we are particularly interested in considering performers to play Latine characters.

BREAKDOWN

Equity encourages members to prepare for their audition prior to arriving at the audition venue, to the extent that they can (e.g., get dressed, hair/make-up, etc.) to avoid crowding in bathrooms and dressing rooms.
